What’s this all about?

It is May 2022, lockdown has hit me badly and my skin is suffering. Can I revive it? Can I get myself looking bright and springy? Surely, I can. It’s just a question of a little application, a lot of new skin care, and sticking to the process.

In January of this year, on my 67th birthday, I realised that as I hadn’t gone out anywhere special since 2019, I was out of the habit of taking care of myself. I had run out of cleansers and moisturisers ( I had been using up the dregs of all kinds of things I had left from my more expensive past), my rosacea was in check, but I had corky patches near my nose and the pores on my nose, forehead and chin were deep and wide enough for me to lie down and open up an outdoor Lido.

I gathered myself, had my hair cut, had some white streaks put in the front, decided I needed to resume looking after my face, and started a project of logging my process here.

This could be a very long journey, but I hope you’ll be with me all the way.

What’s here?
